Revenue Assurance leaders use AXiS to import custom, user-defined formats. The AXiS platform matches revenue data with other client data sources using pre-loaded algorithms, AI, and customer-defined processes. Critical to Revenue is the match to contracts, and comparison to similar services across the network. Deviations are identified and loaded to custom workflows to resolve the causes of lost profitability.

Cost

Network Cost teams use AXiS to find new ways to trim expense.

AXiS helps Network Cost teams identify, track, and resolve leased network cost issues by providing insight into misalignment with revenue, contractual rates, and other network elements. This differs from significantly from typical network cost management platforms. Those are generally focused on the management of billing disputes. While AXiS can identify and support resolution of Carrier disputes, it ALSO finds opportunities where no mis-billing has occurred- simply opportunities to streamline network or be rid of unused facilities generating cost, but not providing any value.

Provisioning

Provisioning data is a goldmine for service optimization.

Provisioning data, the records that describe a service and its method of delivery, are tremendously valuable in understanding the success of a Carrier’s operational processes and yield great opportunities to boost service profitability. One problem endemic to provisioning processes is the use of free-form text note fields that deliver unstructured information that is useful in understanding a single service, but disastrous across many thousands of services. AXiS uses AI and proprietary algorithms to evaluate free-form text and provide actionable opportunities to build service (and company!) gross profits.

Engineering

AXiS ability to ingest custom data and correlate to cost and revenue allows Engineering data of all types to support a full understanding of service profitability. Inputs such as VLAN inventories, NOC ticket data (including free-form text), and Network Management System data can be used to relate the utilization and necessity of individual services to over-all company profitability. New ideas spring from the results, and can be managed as mini-projects via AXiS’ built-in workflow management.

CRM

CRM can act as a baseline to understand expected profitability and service delivery at the time of Quote.

Axiom uses the AXiS software to track the quote to cash cycle, and understand each data element along the way. By understanding expectations at the time of quote, we can separate those issues of low margin that were intentional (often due to competitive bidding) vs. those that truly represent an errant delivery of service, and an opportunity to generate new profitability.

CRM data also supports the evaluation of whether all associated features, services, products, and devices are billing in keeping with expectations at the time of sale.

Contract Data

Are you receiving all of the revenue associated with your client contract? Are your costs charged in accordance with vendor contracts? Was service ordered using the most favorable contract?

Ultimately contract data (whether vendor or customer contracts) governs a lot of what is possible in terms of margin management. AXiS stores contract data that can be used to support revenue assurance, disputes and optimization efforts, informing not just where there is an error, but also where there is no error, but an unrealized opportunity to build service profitability.

Carriers use the AXiS application to resolve data integrity issues and unlock new sources of Margin for their companies.  The application ingests data from multiple carrier data sources, including revenue, cost, provisioning, engineering, CRM, ordering, client and vendor contracts, and user-defined sources.  AXiS integrates this data into a complete view of the structure and profitability of each service, highlighting areas where data references across systems has been lost, often due to:
